Hey everyone, sorry I was away for a long time but I've been busy with some stuff but now I'm back!....And this time I have the great honor and pleasure to start the news with 2 major topics that will blow your socks off guaranteed!

first and foremost, I'm sure a lot of you have already heard the great news, IMPACT skateshop will open it's "doors" on September 10th. I quote doors because it's not a physical skate shop but an online one where you will be able to buy world renowned brand products already available in Egypt. and delivered to you door step for a simple insignificant amount of money and the prices themselves are pretty wonderful! finally we have a source of skateboards that is behind our backs supporting us! this is a new dawn in the skate scene so everyone who needs boards and other apparel, fear no more we've got it! for more info about this shop visit our shop page.

now for our next line of business, there has been confirmation that a skate park will open in Maadi. the source, an event magazine published and distributed to people who live in the area. I haven't had a chance to read the article yet, but my friend read part of it to me and here's what it said:

"Victoria college has finally opened it's dirt BMX track for those who love the ride dirt tracks and next to it is a parking lot for those who still practice riding a bike, and soon there will be ramps and rails for those who skate".

This is what I have so far, I will track down this magazine and research this article and notify you when I find something.

plus there are rumors that a skatepark will open in 2006, now I don't know where or who will open it or anything but that's because it's just a rumor so don't plan your schedule just yet...it may even be the about the Victoria skatepark I just mentioned so you never know.

Tricks are an essential part of skateboarding, heck it's actually the only part of skateboarding! basically when you say skateboarding it immediately equals doing tricks ( skateboarding = doing tricks ) and these tricks aren't that easy to pull, actually they're pretty hard so we here have a page dedicated to teaching you how to do those tricks! in English and in......wait for it........wait for it.............ARABIC!!! yeah you read it correctly we will try as much as possible to translate the trick tips into Arabic so we could have more freedom explaining.
